ADMINISTRATION OF SPECIAL AIR EVENTS AND RELATED MATTERS

As part of the agreement entered into by RAASA and the SACAA, RAASA accepted the responsibility to administer and oversee special air events as defined in the AeroClub of SA 's manual and explained in AIC19.1.
 
The Aero Club systems & procedures will be incorporated and moved over to RAASA and no breakdown in service will occur.
 
This specifically relate to the approval of events, recognition of Flight Directors & Safety Officers, and the issuing of Display Authorizations and Aerobatic Ratings.
 
The relationship between the Aero Club and ASSA (Airshow of South Africa) will continue in this regard, and all events currently being sanctioned by the sections (section specific event) of the Aero Club will continue to be recognized by RAASA.
